Naked Ladies!

Here are pictures of the blooming Naked Ladies. How fun. For those that don't know. These are plants that have foliage but no bloom in the spring. And then much later in the summer after the foliage has died back, these blooms shoot directly up from the ground.





These are too close to the edge of the flower bed. The dog keeps knocking them over. I'll have to read up on transplanting them further back. Here is one that broke off before it bloomed. We brought it in the house and put it in water. They bloom fine in water.
