Here's a little known web site you may have heard of... Before you go out and buy a new ANYTHING find it on eBay. We have saved many dollars by buying on eBay. Be careful to buy only from those with high percentages of positive feedback. We have not had a bad experience, but I know there are those out there that have. Want something for nothing! Join your local freecycle.org group though Yahoo! You will need to be a Yahoo! member, but that's free too. We've picked up several free items, including an almost new push lawn mower that just needed a little tinkering by Rob.

And if you are going to bid on something on eBay, the trick is to bid at the end of the auction so that people do not have the opportunity to post higher max bids once you have bid, thus driving up the price. This site will "watch" your bids for you and place them at the last second for you.
